- Designed to reduce repeated pressure on localized plantar points.
- Available in different thicknesses to adjust the offloading level according to clinical need.
- Roll format to facilitate use in podiatry, orthopaedic, clinical and healthcare settings.
- Class I, single-use product, with healthcare registration no. RPS/193/2017.
- Shelf life of 5 years when stored in a dry place and protected from sunlight.
- Plantar pressure offloading using pieces cut and adapted to each patient.
- Protection of areas exposed to repeated pressure or friction on the foot.
- Professional support in the management of plantar pressure in diabetic patients with loss of sensitivity, according to specialist indication.
- Creation of customized offloading solutions in podiatry, orthopaedics, clinical practice or professional home follow-up.
- Direct application on the skin or in footwear, following the instructions for use and product precautions.
- Wash the application area beforehand.
- Remove the protective siliconized paper.
- Apply the felt directly to the skin or in the footwear, according to professional indication.
- Cut the piece to the required shape to offload the pressure area, avoiding covering the lesion where appropriate.
- The technical data sheet indicates that, normally, the felt should be changed every 3 or 4 days.
- If adhesive remains on the skin during removal, moisten with warm water. Do not use alcohol.
- Do not use as an offloading solution in ulcers due to ischemia, as in these cases the origin of the lesion is related to lack of blood supply in the extremities.
- Avoid offloading designs without an opening, as they may cause window edema.
- Do not apply insufficient thickness for the intended purpose.
- Do not cover the ulcer with the felt and avoid covering the toes.
- Select the thickness and cutting shape under the criteria of the healthcare, podiatry or orthopaedic professional.
- Single-use product. Maintain the usual hygiene measures during handling.
